when i was making rd i decided to blend her in with the blue background a little more so as to make it look like they were both one object rather than completely separate, if that makes sense.
[the only other way i could explain it other than that is if i went into photoshop editor-speak, and that can get confusing]

alright, so i've always been a fan of the Lumosity blending style, so I tested it on RD's layer, and it looked alright, but it made her look too surreal. So I copied her onto a new layer, set the bottom layer to lumosity, and set the top layer to normal blending with 75% opacity, to give her the effect of blending into the screen by 25% rather than all the way.
