Have you seen the film Rare Exports? It is a Finnish Christmas film and I am almost sure you would love it

Good one. 

I've always imagined these cows as some sort of poor man's zombie Transformers. On daytime they're wrecked 70's Lada cars and on nighttime they turn into cows that feed on bicycles. 

Rare Exports, sure. For the sake of the visuals and acting I absolutely adored it, but the plot could have been written better - especially towards the end. 

If you liked Rare Exports I would strongly recommend seeing "Sauna" (2008). Visually gorgeous atmospheric weirdo-horror.

Yes the ending was a bit poor but I loved most of the film. 
I find many films have a bad last ten minutes

I have had a look at Sauna and I have ordered the dvd. 
It looks great and I am sure I will love it.
