The reflections are beautiful in this photograph. And I love how it looks like a still mirror. B/W is amazing with your photography. Beautiful work!!

Well dayum. I guess it was worth the trouble to carry around a load of camera stuff with tripods and all through the nightlife of Turku.

I do see some very disturbing faults in this tho.. I don't know what you all them, but can you see those sort of "spots" in the sky and in the water? They were there in the original raw file, and I just couldn't get them off in Lightroom. Also, was too lazy to go to Photoshop... I suppose some healing brushin' and such would have done the job.

I have opened your picture in photoshop to have a look at it because I couldn't see what you were describing on the image on DA.
It is much more clear to see in photoshop. It looks like digital noise.
Do you know how you had your camera set up to take the picture? I wonder if the ISO speed was high.
Everything else on the picture seems fine. There is just this noise in the sky and in the water.
I know you know what you are doing so don't expect it to be anything you did.
Have you the original colour file I can see? I wonder if this noise appeared more in the edit or whether it was so clear in the colour file too.
I am assuming there is a colour file of course.
I'd be happy to have a look for you

It is still a lovely picture and it looks fine on the DA page.

There sure is some noise left, but my eyes can also clearly see some weird spots the size of my little finger (they are nearly the same in the original and edited one - less in the edited). That cannot be explained by the notch too high ISO 400 (6 sec at f/10)

Oh well. I think my lense had some s**t in it. Propably also moisture, since it rained on and off all those days.

Well 400 ISO isn't high enough to make noticeable noise. It could be the len. If it had been raining it might have moisture inside it that needed drying out. It couldn't be as simple as rain drops on the front could it? Much harder to spot this in the dark.
Often I have managed to get raindrops in some pictures and you only ever notice it in the sky on a daylight shot unless it is particularly bad.
I still love your picture though
