Just the feather-like leaves falling in the background.
And the gentle snowflakes that rests in your auburn hair.
The fact that you are here with me
gives me all the strength I need to fly.
Yet, your love keeps me grounded.
Tethered our intertwined hearts
and smiles keep us in this moment.
Our bubble of perfection.
A living breathing piece of artwork
that I wish someone could hang in a museum
for all of time
So that others would know what true love looks like.
And that there are perfect moments,
in time.

You hide my first comment?  You must have been embarrassed or took it as an insult or I worded it in a way that didn't come across as I meant it.  How I MEANT it was this:  You definitely CAN write love poems VERY well and for a wife who deserves it; AND I like you best when you are your true self (which is sweet, kind, caring, funny, and doesn't have to prove a thing, simply because you already are all you need to be.)  If you hide this one, well, then, I'll have to cease complimenting you because somehow you don't like it?
