Description
This is just a default walk cycle from HL2, modified slightly, and utilizing Jessica's jigglebones. The model is a WIP by Donan from Digitalero, but I decided to decompile it, and tinker with it, because I love messing with stuff!Related content

I've made some significant improvements since, I might have to re-upload or make a new submission.

Cannot wait to see what you can do with it, maybe a full animation?

I feel like you could've gotten away with making her way more bouncy considering the movie (if i remember correctly) was a bit more ridiculous. Nice work regardless

I will probably add more jigglebones. With the current vertex weighting, this was the logical maximum.

Computers are real cheap man, if you can ever set aside around 500 dollars, you can get yourself a mean machine that can easily handle 3D animation, modeling, and rendering!

Check NewEgg (or equivalent if you're not in North America) and cruise the combo parts. If you know how to build a custom, you can get some sick deals that way. My friend just bought one for 530 dollars, with an 8 core 4.0 ghz processor, an ati 7770, and 8 gigs of ram, and it also came with a case and PSU. You can't beat that! If you don't know how to build one, check their pre-built, which have a mark-up over combo deals, but are still reasonably good deals.

Technically a laptop can work, but SFM requires certain specifications to run. And the better computer you have, the faster it renders. It takes AGES to render footage even with fast hardware, so a laptop is going to cook itself, and render slowly, because they aren't meant for that sort of thing.

Though I doubt George Takei would get a "rise" out of this
