Description

The bundle of flowers safely clasped in the paws of the daughter, the five esk leave the decrepit lighthouse and make their way to the shore. In the distance, a small island just barely graces the horizon and the ocean beckons them forward towards it. The mother, hesitant to enter the water, is encouraged by one of her little ones jumping in first with a happy squeal, paddling around in the salty surf. Gently she scoops the other three upon her back, all so small, nestled between her shoulders, and wades in. Her child in the water paddles along happily, and when his legs grow tired, the mother lets him climb on her back . Her legs are long enough that she can avoid swimming for the most part, but the ocean is inviting and lovingly brushes along her fur, leaving little salt crystals drying in the warm sun. Around her, the wildlife swims along gracefully, fish darting between her legs and rays by her sides guiding her along, keeping pace and urging her towards the island.
