So, had an interesting idea yesterday involving drawing ourselves on a fantasy mount, and truth be told, the idea of drawing people again won me over quickly, so I decided to take a good crack at it.

The beast I chose is an Uktena, a giant horned serpent of Native American mythology. Usually people go Nordic, Greco, or Far Eastern, so I decided to do something from somewhere a little different, and I think it paid off. It even gave me a kaiju idea.

I'll be pretty busy at school this week, so I don't know if I'll be able to really participate or not in the tourney, but it was fun to do nonetheless, and yes, that is me in crocodile-themed armor, because that's awesome. The sword is in homage to my last DA profile, but that's long deactivated and a story for another day. And that's all for now. Read my journal if you want to hear more about my contest.
