I have seen couples in real life who look similar and are not related, it's not uncommon. And it is definitely not uncommon to have a shared last name (although 'Kagamine' is actually a code name for them).
When it comes down to it all, they are just Vocaloids and are not human.

But when I was new to vocaloid fanship I thought they were really twins cuz they were released the same date same voice actor same age. It's confusing since back in October I new NOTHING about them
But I guess RinxLen could be cute in a certain way. (everyday I'm a GumixGakupo fan)

No, it would have been awkward if it was on the lips because we are both straight. Everyone in BanzaiPro is really close (practically sisters) so it wasn't awkward at all.
