Born as Lily Kieran Key in Belfast, Ireland. At the age of eight, Jason received his first horse, a gray connemara mare named Molly. He began competing, spent many years in the Girl Guides, and struggled through primary school, as well as taking many years of theater and dance classes. In high school, he dated a girl named Taylor, but it ended poorly and they split off. Molly passed away while Jason was in high school, and he saved her horseshoes as a memento. After secondary school, at age eighteen, he came out as Trans to his parents. He was distraught to find that he was suddenly homeless, as both his parents completely shut him out. With nothing more than a backpack with a few belongings that he could grab, he found himself scrounging the streets. After a year of being out on the streets, he found a new shelter which was willing to take him in, and stayed there while applying for government assistance with his transition. When he was twenty-two, Jason returned to horse training, and landed a job just after his 23rd birthday as the new stable-hand for CFS stables in Texas. One long plane flight later, he was settled at his new home. He met Kristen "Kay" Kire, and sparked off a brief relationship that ended oddly. Following this, he met Kaden Nixon at a horse training clinic about two months after arriving in his new home, and hit it off immediately. Kaden became prevalent in Jason's life, and became his main source of support. Jason's new life in America was fine for a good while, until an eventful evening when he and Kaden attended a house party. Jason separated himself to say hello to a friend, but on his way back he was grabbed by two men around his own age. One kept him pinned while the other repeatedly assaulted him. Kaden came to his rescue after he caught the two men bragging about their conquest downstairs. Kade took Jason to the hospital, and convinced him to press charges despite his deep-seated fear of police presence. While there, Jason revealed a deep-seated self hatred, and feeling that the world would always turn against him for being himself. Kaden was, in his own rough fashion, able to talk some sense into his boyfriend, at the same time uncovering the fact that Jason had been attacked before, while he was homeless in Ireland. Together, the pair worked through the worst of the trauma, getting Jason to a place where he could work and live again. Though he is still quite gunshy about being in new, crowded situations, Jason is beginning to learn how to be himself again, and piece his life back together.
