Description
An incarnate of leftover malice and torment born from a specific flavour of conflict, that being militarian warring. As but a singular, fleshy gaping maw, it shifts around across the floor, roaming the quiet, blood-stenched aftermaths, picking out and devouring the scattered bodies, until there’s nothing left. But once it notices something or someone still alive, a humanoid-shaped, armoured figure rises from Wellspring. The creature does not make the first move, instead it simply stays alert and highly observant of its prey. Then, it reacts accordingly. Trying to run away will prove futile as it quickly cuts anyone down with incredible, yet ruthless haste—in fact, doing so seems to aggravate it even more, much to the extent it will go out of its way to desecrate the remains of the victim, and then leaving the body elsewhere, and even if you were somehow revived, the scars and disfigurement would be too gruesome to live with… It seems it does not want to associate with cowardly prey, and values honour in fighting and death. Ironically, in any encounter with it, facing it head-on will net you better chances of survival… that is, of course, you are handy with a weapon, enough so you are equipped to confront the strength of the unholy. Wielding a war axe in one hand, and a greatsword in another, its attack style is relentless and nimble, despite the weight of the weapons—throwing wild yet masterfully controlled swings one after the other in rapid succession. It warps closely to its challenger, only giving fractions of a second to react, and trying to back off now would only make things worse. An encounter with The Radical Wellspring is one of a Do-Or-Die nature, but some say that felling the creature will grant the victor unmatched strength as a reward from the Wellspring itself.
