Predicted Finish Date: unknown, preferably before 2023
Time: ~1hr39min

Idea/inspiration: The art challenge prompt was Dinosaur Rider. I have never attempted drawing dinosaurs until this challenge so I struggled to create a spearer whose loyal companion is an ankylosaurus
Brushes used: Pen (Fade), Dip Pen (Hard)
Colour scheme: Sketch stage (white, black, greys)
Notes 1: he was a child who had the gift of unknown nature - the vicious creatures hunting humans every day and every night refuse to even give chase. Rather, herbivorous giants befriended the boy, accompanying him as he entered adulthood. Frightened by the young man's strength, his tribe held a manhunt, smashing pieces of flint together as they drove him out of the desert in which they've made their home. The young man was watched and protected by a young ankylosaurus who swished his tail, bringing hunters to their knees. Accepting his exile, the young man climbed atop his savior's rough back and wandered through a vast land of gold grains. At last, after following a trail of footprints left behind by old friends, the young man reached a green land. People have already settled here despite being surrounded by millions of carnivorous dinosaurs. They greeted their guest and piled upon his hands meaty bones dripping with fat. As soon as he recovered from exhaustion, he found a home. This tiny camp gained a fierce guardian who ensured their survival for centuries to come until his sudden disappearance after the shifting ground swallowed him whole. Legend has it that though his old friends have perished, their small descendants known as birds peck the ground or search from above for the prehistoric man. Perhaps starling murmuration mark where he has gone
Notes 2: I definitely won't be able to post every 2-3 days as I have been doing. Just a 'FYI' moment
