My (probably last) contest entry to 's Summer Contest -- Heroes of Zaldor section. Here are Kara Wind and Aramil Nahilo, his OCs. Kara is the twin sister of the main character of Heroes of Zaldor. Aramil is her husband.I find their story interesting. Kara loves Aramil, but when she gets into a fight with him, she goes and has an affair with another guy which results in her having a daughter, Raynee, with the other guy. However, she finally returns to Aramil, who adopts her daughter. They marry and have another daughter of their own, named Maria.
I imagine this scene is when Kara returns to Aramil, confessing her mistake and asking for his forgiveness. Here she is pregnant with Raynee, thus the non-bikini outfit.
Aramil must be a big-hearted man to forgive Kara and accept her back after her affair.
Done with markers and touched up digitally (the skin color and background are digital). Yay, I drew profiles and they don't look weird!

Aww, this is really lovely, they look so sweet and adorable. This is a very lovely picture, I love the style you did for the colouring. It's a very nice look for them. I guess this is when she's pregnant with Raynee, and that's why she's wearing maternity clothes? Anyway, it looks very nice, a very lovely entry and best of luck with the contest.

Yes, that's when she's pregnant with Raynee. (I don't think pregnant women wear bikinis in Zaldor, do they?) I'm not sure whether she gives birth to Raynee first or returns to Aramil first, but I imagine her coming back while still pregnant. And then when Raynee is born, Aramil adopts her at once.

Alright, well some do wear bikini tops while pregnant where Kara lives, but it isn't unusual to wear maternity clothes that covers up, at least not in the era Kara lived in, it becomes less common in later decades, when they'd probably just keep the bikini top the whole time, since they really weren't all that modest as time went on. Your narrative works fine with Kara coming back when still pregnant with Raynee, as I said, Aramil is the only father Raynee ever knew. Her father isn't really named, just someone Kara hooked up with after she had a big fight with Aramil and left him, thinking they were over for good. Turns out the man not only knocked her up and then left her alone, he also was a werefox that infected her with Lycanthropy, spreading it to herself, her daughters and eventually Aramil through Kara. But Aramil does forgive Kara for her fling, he knows that in her mind, they were over for good, so trying to find someone else was a way to heal her broken heart. The fact that she got knocked up without marriage might upset him, but he still loves both Raynee and Kara. Also they weren't quite that serious when they had a big fight, so the fact that she sought love elsewhere isn't too unusual. As for adopting Raynee, the fact that Aramil is married to her mother at the time of her birth make her his kid but the laws of the kingdom they live in. Even if he knows the kid isn't his, the father would have to legally disown them in order to not be declared the parent.
