My new tattoos. Both were done by Jason Tyler Grace of Idle Hands in San Francisco, and done in English111 Vivace font.Goodbye Horses is the title of the song from Silence of the Lambs where Buffalo Bill does his little dance from the camera, but has its roots in an old hindu text, and (to me anyway) it means to let go of earthly things and concepts.
Free Will is the name of one of my favorite Rush songs and is there to remind me that like the song says "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice". I always have a choice, and if I make the wrong one, I have no one else to blame but myself. I'm hoping it will help me take responsibility for my actions and to help me stop procrastinating (or at least remind me to).
(The photo was taken just after the bandages were taken off so thats why the tattoos appear a bit red)

My bf got me into them and ever since...gah!
Those men are the holy trinity. I love the song free will...it's fantastic!
If you look at my deviantid it references Rush, actually.
But my bf is getting his first tattoos soon and it's the starman logo and eventually I'm getting the Permanent Waves girl on my side.
Anyway, I love SotL and Goodbye Horses is a great song. You'r tattoos are simply fantastic! I love both of them.

Very true words, fantastic job! Words are hard to get right, but the font is perfect, fancy and still readable, lol. The artist really deserves props on this one! I'm getting my kids names done on my wrists, is it really as bad as everyone keeps telling me? I've heard I'm crazy more than once, lol!

Thanks! Thats what I was going for. I did a lot of research on different artists before I picked him specifically for the job.
And yes, it is a very painful spot to have tattooed. Especially with text because (if they do it right) the lines are so fine they have to use a single needle, which is more painful than the regular ones and the skin is very thin on your wrist so you really feel it hahaha. But it was completely worth it. I recently had the "Free Will" one touched up too, and it dosnt get any less painful haha, but I'd do it over again if I had to.

Great! Nothing I didn't know though, I think I'm pretty well prepared, lol. I had 2 kids and managed that pain okay, I'm pretty good at ignoring pain if I have to, so here's hoping...

It sounds like a great idea for a tattoo and while it is painful, its also a very short tattoo, so its easier to get through. When are you having it done?

I was supposed to have it done a couple weekends ago, but had to cancel. I'm waiting to find out when he can do it again now. That's what I figured, it's only 2 5-letter names, it shouldn't take too long to get through, lol!
