So, yeah. Not cultural appropriation. If you want to call me out on something, you can bring up that way back when once upon a time when Native Americans were at war, the chiefs wore these (and now too), but everyone has their own way of honoring things and this is mine. Sorry if it offends you.

Did you spell "pure breeds" wrong on purpose? 

 My sister-in-law is Native (got the card an' everything), and supposedly my great great grandmother was Seminole, but, so far nobody in my family whose had DNA done has found any significant percent of Seminole. I haven't done the test yet, but I'm hoping I'll break the losing streak; because we want to confirm a part of our family history.

Which compliment? The one about your Angelina-Jolie-esque cheekbones or the Betty Page do? Either way, hey, I'll tell you what I tell everyone: only thank me when I have to lie.

Example:
'Oh, your baby's ADORABLE!' (There really is the only admissible thing to say to a new parent. You can't exactly say, 'Oh, your baby has such an *interesting* face.' Mothers can see instantly through that shit.)

Meh. So what? I mean I think the reason why people are ass-on-shoulders about things nowadays has to do with how centralized everything is. Everyone's scared of idiots now, because idiots have idiot friends and they all vote.

I can understand about comfort zones.  Most of the women who've modeled for me, have built up to exposing more.  Takes time and most important, the model has to be comfortable and trust the photographer to not become an unprofessional, drooling pervert.  You're doing it the right way.
