"Okay, then I will just... My name is Sheldran Moss. I heard of this whole story of this Mr Cypher. Me and my pal were just in the park and talked about how it was like those batman comics, with a vigilante doing police work. I... don't think it was picked up that well. We're just passing! How should we know that it was such a trigger issue?"

"Please try to keep calm and tell us what exactly happened."

"So, we were in the park where all those Whimsuns usually hang out and talked. An old man came and told us to watch our mouths. We didn't really heed his words. After all, everything was fine... at first. But that was a few hours ago. Earlier I woke up and went to get a midnight snack. as I passed the windows... we're not in the motel we checked in. It looked like a ghost town outside. Not, inhabited by ghosts, abandoned."

"I assumed, but thank you for clarifying."

"All buildings looked like where they were before, only... different, deteriorated and there were those strange statues on the road. Concerned I went to check on Eddie, my pal, his name is... was Edward Snow. I hoped I had just eaten something bad or Eddie pulled an elaborate prank on me. But when I returned to our room, those statues were in there. They had long legs, arms and glowing blue eyes. They stood around Eddie's bed, who had... fallen down. They were using knives to cut him to pieces."

"That sounds scary, you were assailed by a gang?"

"It might seem like that, but, they were no ordinary monsters, I could never see them move, they just... changed. It was like they moved between my breathes, they looked as if standing still but were clearly moving... and they were after us. just like the old man warned us."

"Because of a not popular opinion? That seems rather crass."

"WHY ELSE WOuld they... oh god, the gnomes, those figurines. That was what the old man meant. *(sobbing)* that is why... I am sorry. *(hung up)*"

"For you, my friend, blackbird. I hope that they will let you listen to it at least one more time."
