this is a pretty cool image. i think it would be even more powerful if you cropped out the bricks on the left so the floor would be all white. maybe you could even PS out some of the dirt smuges. just an idea.

Thanks for your critique, and its not a photo I'm 100% happy with for that reason.

I tried cropping the left out, however it left the image too narrow. I was tempted to change the bricks to the same coloured white as the rest of the catwalk, but at what point does the image then become too photoshopped and lose its status as a photograph. I prefer to keep my images as photographed apart from removing defects.

I do like the 3 sections which the lines create, the catwalk split into 2 and the bricks also, but I don't think I'll ever be completely satisified with it. If only I could have pushed the people out of the way who were in direct line with the catwalk.

i understand where youre coming from with the photoshoping. that would have been funny though.. "hey you people! get of the way im trying to take a picture here!" heh.

good shot - the red/white contrast is very dramatic and it has a sense of action
