Just a close up shot of my new avatar. Might as well use one of my characters, right?

I had a happy little accident while making this. I originally painted her hair a really dark brown, so I wanted to make it lighter. I kept the brown, and did a dirty blonde on a separate layer, but that didn't look quite right either. Then, on a whim, I changed the dirty blonde layer to Color Dodge, and WHAM! A brilliant fiery red.

Obviously, there has got to be an easier way to do this, but that's learning! -neheheheh!
