On the shelves, lined up together.
Each bookcase stands at guard
Holding and protecting new doors of imagination.
The shelves that hold them
Make an open chest of treasures
And keep each book prepared, within reach.
They tower above the dirty floor,
Keeping the valuable works and paper
From wear and tear
And becoming a bunker of wood.
