"the story of DEATHNOTE is end"finally finished Desu Noto!!
and i LOVED IT!!! it was fantastic in my opinion.
well, i skipped alot. (namely everything to do with mellow n' yellow)
i had read up to #79 already, then after spotting #108 in Japan in Weekly Jump, i figiured i autta read up! SOOO 3 months later, i skipped up to chapter 100, just to catch everything leading to the end. And SUPER SPECIAL THANX to my good buddy Nikki for trying really hard to help me get the final chapters~ thank you!
i dont think i ever read any manga so intensely. i was right into it~ plus i played all my Akira Ikufube Godzilla songs for old times sake (it makes a killer deathnote soundtrack)
So, like everytime i read sumthing wicked-cool, i gotta draw it.

Who has been, and shall remain one of my favorite characters ever! ..in anything!

Despite my hate for Light, you really did set the mood just right.
Why didn't you like Near and Mello? XD They may not have been as good as L, but they were cool in the end. And Near's plan was quite genius too.

i think i just hated them cuz they were a crappy replacement fo L, and i think the end of L shud have been the end o deathnote, OR kept L to face raito at the end, keep it one on one. Raito and L had a great dyanmic with each other, and mellow and near never came close.

i LOVE the coloring on this. the black and greys really fit yagami's personality! i also like the blood on his hand, it shows he's a murderer, well, at least it sybolizes.

Akira Ikufube Godzilla songs huh. Well to me it was a mix of final fantasy songs. Advent: One winged angel, The Black Mages-Dancing Mad, etc... I loved death note but im sad to see it end. But all good things must come to a end. I hope i can see the movies but ill just have to wait for the DVD to come out or something. Even though i read the manga via scanlations im going to try to buy all the volumes especially the new one with L's real name.

no that was a fake. Well i think it was a fake. If light would meet up with L in heaven (or hell) and he would find out that was his real name all the time he would be pissed. The new volume wont have any new comic its more like the special features in a dvd. And L's name will be in some card thinggy.

i know, but i dont like it. i got to know him as Raito, and then they sed "the author wishes his name to be changed to light, as is his intended name" and i never liked it.

The kanji for his name doesn't even phonetically mean "raito."
I just find it incredibly obnoxious when people japan-ify english names -- like when people call Edward Elric from Full Metal Alchemist "Edo."

very cool. I love the grimmy style in this one.I also read death note up to where raito joins the investigation on Kira when he lost his memory... just tooooo many chapters. I might catch up on it again tho,.
