Looks pretty good, although what would be the purpose of the display above the pilot's seat? Seems it would be better to move whatever that is to an MFD on the dash, so the pilot doesn't have to take his eyes away from the rest of the instrument cluster, and also to avoid obstructing a direct overhead view. Remember: The better visibility pilots have, the happier they'll be (for the same reason, the side walls seem awful thick. Functionally it would work better if the cockpit ended at the edge of the red, rather than continuing past it into the black area).

I can think of a few reasons why there should be a screen above your head, some non-critical information can be displayed there, also it can easily be reached. I image that pilots in space have more down time while they cruise, they don;t have to be engaged constantly.

Also, this is an asset made for games, not for real life. While I understand the need for as much visibility as possible, the cockpit must also serve the purpose of a cool environment. That means lots of unnecessary things that look good.

Thanks for the feedback and you ideas

Looks very realistic, almost thought it was an actual photo at first... Great work!

Excellent work! Looks fantastic. If the view outside the cockpit were of a hanger or factory, there'd be no way to tell it wasn't a photograph.

I always feel a cockpit like this needs more physical one-use only buttons.

So the pilot doesn't need to look away from the views around him and can feel out the right button in the battle by tactile memory.

Wich is something touchscreens can't really provide, at least securely.

Constrcutive thoughts aside, i really like the way it looks. I wished we could fly things like that already. :-P

i think there's enough space, also that panel is a bit higher than the seat

I didn't mean to make a big deal out of it. I apologize.

Nah man, don't worry about it. I thought of that too at one point later in the project. And I decided to leave it as is.

at first glance I though there was a "wall" under the pannel, but it seen to be open, so you could, maybe, spread your legs under it.
That said, indeed, there is a min and max height for airforce pilots, and I believe it would be the same for cosmic fighters.

I actually don't think that since you aren't bound by aerodynamics in space. You can make a fighter as bulky as you need, important are the thrusters. :-P

hm, I would recommend Shadiversity's video on space ships to point out some interesting points on how physics apply to space ships, there are 3 or so videos, and I won't just make it all into a huge comment
