Hey look! A new team~! I've been working on this for the past week or so. I admit, part of the reason that I made this team was due to some plot points I had come up for my other team. It'll make more sense later on when I recruit their third and fourth members later on. xP
Plus, Nidoran(m) is my most favorite Pokemon, so I figured I'd make a new team featuring one, and I recently fell in love with Slugma as I was playing Pokemon Colosseum a while ago. xD I'm also going to be making these guys rivals of Team Oasis, and that'll be explained more once I can get to work on my M8 entries. Though, their rivalry will already be somewhat shown in the March tasks. I also chose to make the Nidoran(m) identify as a female because it was a golden opportunity to try something new and to create some "character vs self" type conflict in my stories.

Background:
Zōm was often ridiculed for being "female" as she was growing up. She never had the best reputation in the town and made many enemies and many regrets. It was when she was betrayed by her newest "friends" and nearly killed by them setting her house on fire that she decided it was time to leave. She had heard of the Guilds in Tao and resolved that it was the perfect place to restart. Unfortunately, she was attacked as she was trying to leave. She managed to fight off her attackers, but not without consequences. Her ear was torn and her leg was broken. She only managed to stumble as far as Fortissimo Peak before collapsing from fatigue. Thankfully, Ramsey was there to help her. She was extremely thankful for this and for reasons even she was unsure of, (perhaps it was the head trauma) she felt like she could trust this young Slugma and opened up to him. They became close friends, and eventually left together to start a new life.

Until recently, Ramsey had been living in Fortissimo Peak with his family and many other fire-type Pokemon. He never strayed far from home due the fact that he was helping his parents care for his many siblings. He was extremely curious of the world and dearly wanted to explore it. His parents knew this and often tried to get him to actually follow his dreams. He wanted to, but something was holding him back. The world was simply too big, and he was at a loss as to where to go. At least, he was until he met Zōm. The day he met her was when he was out on one of his strolls. He noticed her collapse into the dusty ground and rushed over to help. He brought her home and the healers in Fortissimo Peak helped her out. The pair became fast friends, and often spoke about the outside world and all of it's wonders. When Zōm was healthy again, she asked Ramsey if he would accompany her on her travels. After all, it was safer to travel in pairs, and she knew Ramsey wanted nothing more than to see the world. Without a seconds hesitation, he agreed and the pair left to start their adventure.
