Lonliness always gets attention,But never absorbs it.
Lonliness could be surrounded by others,
Yet never feel their presense.
Lonliness could be filled with water,
And yet always be empty.
Lonliness' only friend is nothingness,
And even around her, he feels nothing.
Lonliness was hungry yet had no appetite,
So he forced down dry food -
Only to force it back up.
Lonliness dresses plain and drunk,
He shows he doesn't want attention, but he does.
Lonliness drinks a beer to forget he's lonely,
But then he forgets he forgot, and is empty again.
