ive been meaning to make this for awhile since i buy a lot of art of this character, so here it is!this is more or less a really succinct guide to drawing wolfe. i typically encourage free reign and open interpretation of its design but there are a couple details that would need to at least be somewhat constant to preserve wolfes individuality as a character
if anyone ever has any questions about them they are always free to ask :00

this is honestly one of my favourite characters, the simplicity is beautiful and i just love the concept overall. i aspire to be able to create characters that can be so simple but unique. this is such a good design, it's so recognizable, and a nicely laid-out ref! the 3D effect is also a cool idea.

How do I achieve that 3D affect in SAI or GIMP? O:
Is it as simple as duplicating the drawing and coloring one solid red, solid blue, making them semi-transparent, and moving them behind the original drawing?
Or does it have to do more with laying above the first drawing...? Just trying to figure it out, as I'd love to draw Wolfe someday!

i dunno how my method compares to the one vinny linked, but what i do in gimp is basically...
go over to the 'channels' tab (looks like layers but colorful) and turn off visibilty all but the red layer and hit ctrl+shift+c to copy visible (then turn all of the channels back on)
then i go back to the layers tab and hit ctrl+v and change the new layers blending mode to addition and move it off to the side a tiny bit
then repeat that but use the green layer instead of red and move it the other way
