Description
This is a Photoshop tutorial on extracting a cartoon character with a black outline from a white background, like Walfas characters. I came up with this method last weekend when I was extracting Walfas character sprites for a game project. It can take less than 45 seconds to finish the process if you know what you are doing.I don't know how well this will be received... my test audience among my peers didn't go well, losing the majority of them. I know the layout isn't great either... But I said I would get this out by Friday, and here it is.
I plan to make a comic version of this as well... illustrating my frustrations with the crunchy boarders and white jagged edges of the wand tool method.
-Edit-
Feedback would also be appreciated.

Ok, my video isn't specifically Walfas, but the process is the same. Yes, that's my voice. I'm obviously on a Mac, so get over it already.

Holy crap, this would have been useful back in the day with some of my older stuff.
Of course, I only have MS Paint.
