Description Well, you probably can't tell, but I used ~Reine-Haru as my model for this. I can draw accurate portraits traditionally, but it never turns out like the model when I draw directly into Photoshop.

Hey I think you did a good job! I like her expression. and profile views are hard to make look 3d. The only thing about her expression (and it's a very subtle thing, but I think it makes a big difference) is that the blue tone on her eyelid should go parallel to her nose, if you know what I mean. She has the look of disdain, so I think to reinforce that, if that blue tone slants more like her nose and eyelashes do, it will definitely make her eyes show more of that personality, cus rite now, it "kinda" looks like she's sleeping.

Like I said, it's the smallest thing, but I think it will be good to see.

keep it up!!

You've requested a quick critique but don't have the function, as you're not a subscriber, but I'll just leave it in comment form. Here we go

I am actually quite unfamiliar with this style of artwork, but from what I can see, I'm not sure why you'd want any tips and tricks - minus the tilt and nostril on her nose, you've managed to combine, fluidly, usually clashing colors and designs in to a classical portrait of quite the beautiful woman.

The only few things that I would change if it were myself doing this would be the tilt of her nostril - to me, it looks as if she's smelled something terrible and it just makes her look annoyed, and you managed to get the tilt of her head so perfect, I'd imagine that you wouldn't want to spoil it with something so minor. Of course, this is just ME - it doesn't ruin or distract from the rest of the picture
Her hair is beautifully done and goes well into the necklace, but her chest area is quite flat, and her shoulder, while being completely in line with her neck and jawline, seems to evolve from that same flatness. There could be some more filler or shading to even out that bustline so she looks more natural.
Her skin is luminous, it very much glows - the look in her eye, and slant to her head, make me feel that if I was in her presence, I would feel intimidated.

Excellent use, again, on such normally clashing colors - it reminds me very much of a fashion portrait. Well done here, very pretty painting

(I'm gonna poke you on Gaia!
