Thought it was a Sonic cross over or something. The spikes make him look pretty dangerous. Like some wild beast that could slice you in half if you let him get too close. I bet they're a pain to draw though. XD

It's been a pleasure to work on Model C back then, and it's an even bigger pleasure to see such great artwork made off of a sprite I helped design. This. Blows my mind.

While I worked on the sprite back then, I had to imagine it in some form of ''artwork'' in my head, to see it in good quality art is quite something. You've ''somehow'' managed to achieve a reverse process, normally artwork is made before the sprite, but what You did was take a sprite and draw artwork from it, that in itself is quite an accomplishment and it's also why I've so appreciative of this artwork. It's in its own rights, a nostalgia trip for me.

Regardless, as someone who worked on the sprite before any artwork was concretely made, I'm proud of what the result you've delivered is.

I am currently working on updates for the sprite(s) and all the improvements / tweaks I'm doing are based off your artwork, yes, I'm actually taking your art as a reference to help me better my own work. With that said, I'm glad we've crossed paths the way we did, it'll be a pleasure to cooperate with you in the project. I can't wait to show you the updated sprites once Ray has approved of them.
