Tried some effects with the clouds and atmosphere,
still on my learning curve, got lots more to learn.
Thanks to *randomcasualty ~phoenixgi and *stotty for all their help and advice.

i think the water is MUCH too light for the piece in general. either darken that, or lighten the clouds, tho if you lighten the clouds, i think the effect you want will be diminished, so id stick to darkening the water. the concept of this is great, i like it. its jsut that the water bugs me a bit. all in all, a good piece

i've never done landscapes or anything, nor have i looked at many, but this looks pretty cool. i like how you mixed it up with the light and the dark, i think it might look good if you did some work around the horizon though, made the meeting of the two have something going on. just an idea

Cloud cover is a bit heavy but the rays peekiung through is nice. You should have chosen a draker water color though.

okie...i don't talk about your effect, filter something...i think i don't do it better than anyone here. but i think you can make this more interesting when you try more in laylout. there's tow part and they are equal. i don't think it's good. nothing is a thing to remember. nothing to keep your eyes stop. nothing main...

In my opoinion, all terregn renders look like crap, but this one doesn't look like crap at all
good job using an old, outdated, inferior landscape simulator to make a great peice!

As phoenix mentioned...... yes this is just one render.
I tried lots of different combinations and i wanted something out of the ordinary.....thus we have the contrasting sky and water.
It's a bit like..... The sky is furious and burning, whereas the water is calm and serene.....

The thing I like the most with this is the clouds at the top...They look very real and has that spooky look....
Same with the water close to the bottom..:That also looks real....
I think the deep perspective ruins this a bit....Make the water and sky look streched....
And the sky and the water is to different in color....Light against dark....
But I like it...Keep trying...

This is Interesting, has the brightly light water, but the cloud cover does not seem like it should have that much light. It looks like this is (even though it's not) 2 different renders that have been combined in Photoshop (or the like). Cool experiment

nice effect. although, the lights comming from above don't influenciate the water. also, the font in the Fury word doesn't fit very well
