Alright, I'm going to come back to this one. Going back through your gallery [coughcoughmy favesfoldercough] I see this one, and it is so striking, it always stands out, and it speaks to me so strong and clear. There was this point in my life I reached that said I'd had enough with the way things were, the way I was held back and held myself back, down, and I gave birth to a rising mentality that this painting so starkly embodies.
Sometimes I picture myself in a hue of blues and greys, but this is a more perfect capture, as far as it applies to my life, anyways, not to mention even how your own artist comments portray.
The red is like the fiery, bloody, imposing walls that surround, shadowed with every negativity, they even seem to curl at the top, as if they intend to crash down like tidal waves upon the ascending spark. The pink a perfect, unstable, determined firework that streaks ever higher beyond the borders. I can almost hear the snap of the fuse igniting, the searing cackle as it soars, and a satisfying blat and crack as it succeeds, or gains power, renews, continues.
That pink is like a little girl that probably never wanted to be where she was, but damn if she wasn't going to rise out of it anyways, and defy those infernal walls. It's so simple and pure in its design.
Again, again, I clap my hands, and once more I raise my glass to your fine, precisely raw and so absolutely stunning ability to appeal and capture in your paintings.

...
when im fancy and high class and all my work takes up the blank walls and high white ceilings of a real gallery, im going to pull you out of whatever state youre in and drag you if i have to, over to my museum of utterly brilliant misery, and have you tour the hallways explaining to ignorant haughty art heads the real meaning of my art. i for the life of me cannot pull out the emotions and the essances that you all find in these. they're trapped in my subconcious and i do not know the language, only how to write in its cursive.
but you get* it. And i wish you could explain all of it to me.

I'd be so much more than happy to oblige. The same way you can not capture things in words, I can never seem to capture the raw and visual essence of /all/ my words. Your paintings appeal to me because they cater to that incarcerated, abstract part of my mind that I have such trouble tapping into.

Really nice contrast between the colors. I think it walks the fine line between beauty and violence well. Whatever that means. :]

I like the motion going on here. Trail going up, then BAM CRASH and retaliation.
