Description
This was amazing fun to do. I tried a looser, more painterly style than I usually do with figures like this, and wow it really worked out well.I like the colour yellow ... hum ho ...
I haven't done a dragon in a while now, hmmm ...
Anyways I hope you like it!

The wings are awesome. I can't stop look at them. And the design too, with those shiny yellow/gold parts. Imaginative idea, as always and anatomical correct. Neat job, he looks very overyoyed

Wow, excellent metallic sheen you have going on there. Kudos on that, metal is hard to pull off.
And I love the complimentary colours you used, the gold and yellows versus the blues and purples. Nice touch.
BUT THAT WING IS AMAZING
ITS ALL PERSPECTIVEY AND AWESOME <3

Hmm what's weird is that I never thought of it as metal. I see it as ... i dunno really shiney skin?
Heehee it's shiney. *pokes*
Thanks so much!

Hey, this is one of the most beautiful dragons I've seen in a while! It really looks like a portrait.
Well done

The texture of his skin makes him seem bony and the colours make him seem happy and vibrant
Hows that for cute!?

In normal cases I wouldn't like the dark uses of grey for shadowing, however it gives your dragon a good gold/metallic shine. He looks like he's a very proud dragon, for a reason too ^_^

Do you usually prefer black?
Yeah it's pretty much my first experiment with not using black for shading, and I think I like it, and I'm glad you do to

I usually like darker shades of the same color, but now that I look see again, I like that you used purple-ish to shadow which is even cooler since it's a complementary color

Mostly blue actually. Just a bit of purple for the wing. Oops that what I meant, shading with black is like shading with a darker shade.
