Description
Araneus diadematus spiderlings, known as European Garden Spider, Diadem Spider, Cross Spider and Crowned Orb Weaver.
I went into the yard this morning, Sunday June 10th at 09h36 AM, and found these newborn spiders on an inflatable chair I just got on Saturday. There are no dangerous spiders around here, plus these are really tiny. I suppose that once the day gets warm enough they'll start looking for a place to make a home. I told them they can hang around if they take care of the mosquitoes but has gotten no answer yet. I suppose they're still too young to talk
June 11th 7:00 PM Most of the spiderlings are gone
From wikipedia: After they hatch in Spring, they stick together for a while (a week or so) and they keep together in a "spider ball". After the first couple of days they will start moving together to new areas. They make this net or web to hold themselves together and to catch small bugs.

Does your missus have the same tolerance for spiders like you?

It would seem this is but one group that stayed together after hatching, there may be more around. They are tiny likes seeds though, so they're actually really cute

I have a lot of critters in my yard, the more so because I don't use pesticides so my cats don't get poisoned. Once you learn how useful they are, you begin to see them in a new light
