I've decided to continue off my previous piece and make a ROTG dress series! So here's a dress, this time inspired by Sandy! I actually scrapped several designs for this one because most of them made my little gender-bent sandy look either too slim or tall and I thought it took too much away from the character. In the end, I just went with as many ruffles and layers as possible! The drifting sashes were the most fun to draw and color, although I do realize that it probably wouldn't work in real life unless it was being modeled in a room with a billion fans blowing from all directions.. XD oh well

This is random, but did anybody else think of the BFG (by Roald Dahl) when Sandy was introduced? I actually hadn't heard of the sandman legend before watching rise of the guardians, maybe that's why..
Also, I could probably write a very lengthy essay on how glorious the dream sand was animated in the movie but I'll spare you. XD
