analogous for sure! I'd like to think that similar evolutionary traits, functions and abilities would be mirrored in some facet or another on alien planets...i mean if it isn't broken don't fix it.

right- convergent evolution. because if an alien planet has similar environmental features to earth, then similarities in life should arrive, including similarities in ecology.

thanks!! umh not sure exactly. I TRY..key word try, to alternate between humanoid images and alien creatures. I just uploaded my mermaid one so my next will be an alien creature. but can't tell you exactly when i'll be finished with it because I'm not easily pleased. but my next one for sure will be an alien creature!

Its pretty straight-forward behavior. Males beating each other up to display dominance, similar to zebras, deer etc. The blood shed is more because you have a fully developed spurred male vs a underdeveloped male, there isn't a ritualistic spilling of blood here just animal behavior. But I can see why you would think that there is something more, as my description could allude to a ritualistic act.
