Atem dried his eyes again and tossed away the tissue, grabbing another from his Handy-Dandy Box-O-Kleenex. He was miserable at the moment. Someone might as well have stabbed a knife through his heart. He wasn't going to get to see Seto for so long. He smiled at the Blue-Eyes that he had laying next to him.

Atem sat up, getting an idea. He needed cheering up, and who better to cheer him up than Mahad. Atem pulled out his Dark Magician and summoned him to his room, smiling when he saw the familiar face of his best friend.

"Atem, what happened?" Mahad asked, seeing the tears on Atem's face.

"Mahad, I really need a hug," Atem said, wiping away another tear. "I'm not ready to leave for college yet. I can't even handle being away from Seto for a few minutes... Please, I need a hug."

"Atem, you said the same thing when you were told you were becoming Pharaoh," Mahad said, sitting Atem down on the bed. "You are going to be great. You are smart and talented, everyone is going to love you. Everyone here loves you and we're all behind you, one hundred percent of the way."

Just then, Atem got a text. He looked down at his phone and smiled.

-just remember, i'll always be with u, even if you cant see me- the text read. Atem smiled at the way Seto knew exactly what to say and when to say it, like he was reading Atem's mind.

"See?" Mahad asked, chuckling slightly. "He'll always be there."

"I know," Atem said, picking up the Blue-Eyes and holding it above his heart.

"Now," Mahad said, clearing his throat before summoning a very fluffy and fuzzy Watapon pillow. He handed it to Atem and said, "sleep on this tonight. It'll help you be better rested for tomorrow. You have a long day ahead of you."

"I know, I know," Atem said, turning out the light before laying his head on the extra fluffy pillow.

"Good night, Atem," Mahad said wtih a smile. "Pleasant dreams."
