THANK YOU FOR 5000+ PAGEVIEWS, EVERYBODY! <3Yesh, it's a couple pageviews early, so shoot me. xD This took roughly 6 hours in total, from penciling to finished work.
This is actually dedicated to . I'm a huge fan of Christy's work and of her manga Re : Play for Tokyopop, and I'm also taking a few art lessons from one of her best friends, Marty , so I've heard how awesome she is. ^_^ I know she's a fan of KH and she did the greatest Axel cosplay I've ever seen at one of the conventions she attended, so she's an inspiration.
I tried a new approach with cel-shading, and I think it worked relatively well--I didn't smudge the shading as much, made it a little more clean-edged.

This is really great, there's a lot of eye-catching details in here that I really like. The way you draw hands and fingers is really nice and I love how you can see the shadow of Axel's raised hand against his face. I like the overall shading/coloring as well it all just...blends together so nicely. The striped backround is cute, too.

This picture is great! The coloring is awesome, and the hair looks great. I do ship them as a couple, but I also like the best friends/brother aspect to the relationship and it looks awesome.

It's a tricky pairing because of what Axel said...it can be interpreted so many different ways. But the friend/couple pairings are both cool, as long as they aren't too OOC. I find them both endearing. I just realized I say awesome twice in one comment. I need to extend my vocab.
