LOL! I just gave a fractions test the other day. The kids had calculators to use and here are some of their answers: 4 x 4 = 8, 8 divided by 4 = 4, 1 divided by 2 = 1.

Are you such a dreamer? To put the world to rights?β¨I'll stay home forever, where two & two always makes up five.
I'll lay down the tracks, sandbag & hide.
January has April's showers and two & two always makes up five.
It's the devil's way now. There is no way out.β¨You can scream & you can shout. It is too late now...β¨
---great concept!

In a world where 2+2=4 there is no life, there's only the beginning of death Beautiful.

Great picture, although I can't help but take it literally (is there a reference I'm not getting?).
Math is set in stone and no matter how you look at 2+2 you will always arrive at 4. If you arrive at 5 you're doing something wrong regardless of your point of view. My calc professor would flip sh*# if he saw this.

Well a response on the first page indicates it's not really a reference.
By the way, have you heard of this: "2+2=5 for extremely large values of 2."
Look it up!

oh? cool.
Its just, whenever i see anything like 2 + 2 = 5 i get a bit freaked out. I REALLY enjoyed the book and actually got unnerved by it.

Have you read 1984 by George Orwell? When I saw this the first thing that popped into my head was one of the characters, Julia.

Freedom is being able to say 2+2=4.
I have to say, 1984 is one of my favourite books.

2.49 + 2.49 equals 4.98 rounded up to 5. Totally a nerd thing.
