I have this picture in my favorites but I'm not sure if I've ever commented on it. I do like the picture itself, but I **LOVE** her tattoo ~ the concept of it, how it designs the female curve..or something, you know? Makes me want something glamorous tattooed there!

A powerful image, though... The concept is slightly askew for me. The title is what drew me in. The hand on the (shower?) door seems like it could be there in either an aggressive or neutral sense- I get "aggressive" at first glance however. Also, the tattoo draws a lot of attention and although it does not take away from the photo, I think it distracts from the (possible) meaning. The tiles in the foreground give a hiding, cave-like sense to where the model is standing, and the posing seems defensive, which overall adds to the picture a sense of fear.
In regards TO the tattoo. A beautiful piece of artwork all on its own. The phoenix seems to be modeled after a chicken (just how I see the wings and head) also the symbolism of it's placement is ironic as the Phoenix stands for rebirth and new life. So you get points for that, haha.
