Love this. I don't think the butterfly was a bad idea, esp b/c of the black on the wings, and the coloring, mimicking the eyelashes and the colors - maybe a smaller butterfly or inverting the butterfly? I'm not sure ....I think you're right, you could have slightly altered something in the composition. Still love the lush colors and the idea, though. The eye alone wouldn't have been as dramatic. Try another?
