Description
The sky looked so strange during the evening that this shot was taken. A storm had gathered and moved on, leaving the strange clouds and the resulting light. I took this picture in June 2004, near the South Saskatchewan River and not far from the town I grew up in. This place is a nice respite from the ever-present flatness of the prairies.Related content

Wow, gorgeous. I love the colors and the perspective... very moody, especially those brooding clouds. Very lovely, great work!

Thank you very much! Saskatchewan skies are really full of life and this was a particularly expressive evening. Ahh, sometimes I miss home!

Thanks for the comments...I think I got lucky with the lighting on this shot. The sky was really peculiar that night and all the colors seemed more brilliant than usual. Definitely a "moody" shot.
