This is my first take at 'digital painting'. Took about 6-7 hours and I used Fireworks (its really the only graphics program I know how to use). Would appreciate any technical critiques and suggestions.

The image is based on this shape I saw on a concrete wall, at this place I used to park. It was some dark patches on light patches, and to me it looked like a girl that was sitting and painting, with her hand reach for something. I initially drew in a paintbrush in her hand but that didn't quite work out.

Its called "inspiration apparition" because the image itself was an inspiration to me and ya..it sorta appears as an apparition (not really, its like when you find shapes in a cloud ).

The surrounding is meant to show how the mind melds the creative boundary and environment. Everything seems to disappear and becomes part of the creative energy. I tried to capture the moment a person is inspired to 'create'. Hence the blank canvas...and her in deep thought.
