Description
As the snow falls heavy on the site, six of the group of college kids wonder round and stumble upon an odd patch of ground with no snow covering it. As the six of them step on to the ground it begins to crack and each of them fall down the hole and into a deep body of water. A strange glow can be seen from below them and causes them to dive down and swim towards it. Travelling through a hole in the rock wall they find themselves coming out in a cave and before their eyes they see it, a spacecraft built into the cave wall.

“Do not fear young ones. I am Gennai ..... Don’t just stand there, come in”

As a door opens up to the spacecraft, the six of them hesitantly head towards the doors. As they step through the door they each for a short moment glow a colour. The first glows orange, the next glows blue, the third glows red, the fourth glows purple, the fifth glows green and sixth glows grey. They find themselves in a strange command room as an old looking gentlemen steps out from the shadows.

"Welcome, the six of you have been brought here to protect the world from a coming crisis. You have been chosen to fight against this evil and become the Power Rangers Data Squad with these your Datamorphers"

"Tai Kennedy you are the Tyrannosaurus Ranger, Matthew Ingram you are the Wolf Ranger, Mimi Turner you are the Nature Ranger, Izzy Knight you are the Insect Ranger, Sora Todd you are the Phoenix Ranger and Joseph Kane you are the Beast Ranger"

As Gennai finishes, six small robot like creatures come from behind him. They each go to their Ranger partner and Gennai says to them that these are their zords. In this state they are simply pets but with a command from their partner they will upgrade and become massive in proportion to the extent that they can go inside and control their zords.

An alarm sounds throughout the spacecraft and Gennai says to the new rangers that a craft has landed on the moon's surface and that it is Crylock's craft. A swarm of small crafts leave Crylock's craft and attack the nearby city. As the group have a beam of light shine down on them and they vanish from the command room.
