sometimes i wish my photos had been taken by someone else, so that i could be able to appreciate them in their true form, in a purer way, in a more objective way yet more subjective.
i like shooting on film because i like the sense of surprise in seeing my photos some days after having taken them, yet sometimes they bore me anyways. the true emotion, the true beauty, is finding errors like these which create a sense of surprise and five a whole new strenghth to the photographs. thanks to that accidental green flash of light this photo is now my favorite amongst my paris shots.

a volte vorrei che le mie foto fossero state scattate da qualcun'altro, così da poterle apprezzare veramente, nella loro purezza, in maniera più oggettiva ma allo stesso tempo più soggettiva.
mi piace scattare a pellicola perchè mi piace la sorpresa nel vedere le foto giorni dopo, però a volte mi annoiano comunque. la vera emozione, la vera bellezza, consiste nel trovarsi davanti difetti come questi, a sorpresa, che danno nuova forza alle fotografie. grazie a quel meraviglioso e casuale bagliore verde questa foto è senza dubbio la mia preferita.)
