Derwent Tinted Charcoal on Paper

My daughter's fiancé's cat, no longer with us in body, but will live on in spirit.

First time I've used these pencils, and I must say I like them. The colour is subtle and 'earthy', very natural tones. They were perfect for this piece.
Speaking of which, I'm usually terrible at drawing cats (browse through my gallery, you'll see what I mean!). In fact, the line art alone for this took me longer than everything else. I must have redone that eye alone about ten times. But in the end, it came together nicely. My first successful cat drawing! WHOOT!
