Well when I sketched up the cast, I began working on a concept for a new Sonic series called "Sonic the Hedgehog: Alpha and Omega" which would tell the story of how Earth became Mobius, and give a history of Dr. Robotnik. I've actually come up with a sort of alternate universe for it, where Dr. Eggman is actually an android doppelganger of Dr. Robotnik's.
Long story short, it's a more serious and slightly darker look at the Sonic Universe, so I detailed the characters a bit more.
