Description Well, any hero is just as good as his/her enemmies, and here's the recurrent, toughest foes of the United Defense Initiative ([link] ), the 1000-man strong private battalion simply referred to as the "New Guard".

Each individual member of the New Guard is recruited from the ranks of child soldiers in the anarchistic war-rifed lands that are found outside of corporate domain, which ensures that they are completely desensitized to violence and warfare, as well as that they are unwaveringly loyal to the shady figure in charge of the New Guard, a woman that goes by the alias of "Temperanza". They have such loyalty for her as they have been convinced that they owe their life to her for pulling them out of their homelands where they would not have lasted long and nurturing them with a decent quality of life they would not have dreamed of as child soldiers. However, in exchange for the confort that they have been given, they are trained ruthlessly throughout their entire adolescence and early childhood by the most elite forces of the world as part of several front companies in the private military business. Thus, they are tuned in as a lethal, highly technological, efficient force with high mobility and a specialization for sabotage and wetwork at a very large scale, capable of facing off and eliminating quick reaction forces and also capable of outrunning or outmaneuvering heavier elements, all of that while employing a variety of man-portable electronic warfare systems and jammers. They are trained to leave no trace of their actions however extreme they may be, and use an assortment of Russian-made weaponry.

They have some minor air support from the couple of Mi-17 helicopters, but otherwise they mostly procure their mobility on-site; and seemingly lack a fixed base of operations. Some much more enigmatic elements such as enormous supersoldiers armed with heavy artillery and ghost-like entities appear to support them in some of their missions. Whatever little information there is about them and their leader links them to several secret organizations seeking world dominance by overthrowing the corporate regime.

the rifle he's carrying looks kinda like an AS VAL... is that intentional or just your perception of a combat rifle?
