These weapons are based on a story i made for creative writing.

MAR5: Standard United Earth Federation assault rifle. It fires magnetically accelerated rounds at sonic speeds. The rounds can be upgraded to explosive, armor piercing, incendiary, and High Explosive Armor Piercing Incendiary.

PCR3: The UEF standard Spec Ops unit assault rifle. Like the MAR5, it fires magnetically accelerated rounds at sonic speed, but unlike the MAR5 its round are incased in a shell of plasme, allowing the shots to instantly penetrate shields before the bullets hit the armor. the effects on unshielded targets are messy to say the least.
