I will agree with everyone on the front bumper as you make it look like Japanese style, which does not suit this car! I like the 400 arches and the interior as it is (no interior!). I would also use some more retro rims with 0 or negative offset
Oh and the "bad boy" look in front still is a bit away from the car's character I think! It is mostly done on Kadetts and not on Asconas, but still, if you need a reference picture with original accessories of the time, here's mine as I used to have it (but don't like it anymore, so I took it off ):

It is an extra "spoilerlip" as the Germans call it from a firma called "Michalak".

I would LOVE to see the continuance of this as I am a big Opel Ascona B fan (I have 2!)

It looks great.
If I may suggest, if it going to be old school rally car, change front bumper.
But it its still very nice work
