Description
Hah, I did it!This started as a MEP part for =Fuchsianess back in April, which was when I finished the sketch (which is in Scraps). In August the lineart was finished (Scraps too) but in the end I gave up on the MEP.
But I regretted having wasted all that effort so today, rather than studying French and maths which I have important tests for, I finished this.
I like the animation up to the looking at the viewer, but the getting up part... no. x) One moment she's laying down and suddenly she's standing. Makes no sense! But it's old already so I didn't really bother.
Aaah I'm so glad I finished this! I rarely ever do complex animations that involve the whole body moving and I'm glad I could use Bienie no matter how much her design killed me in this.
Plus... I decided that after all, I might as well still go for animation as my further studies, so I might practice anyway then!
Also... I'm really grateful for all the recent watchers. Thanks so much.
Watermark because you never know. ;D

Thank you for the critique, I appreciate it (: You were right about the flaws, I'll try to pay attention to those next time!

This critique will be serious, and in no way an asspat.
Oh... and by the way... some faggot likes to copy and re-submit my critiques for some reason. Just to let you know.
Here is the critique:
Positive:
This is really really adorable.
It is easy to tell the motion of what the character is doing, which is always good.
The change of facing front to 3/4 to side is really smooth. Nice job on that.
The overall animation is good. Not amazing, but still pretty good.
Negative:
A lot of jitter in the outline of the character.
Don't be afraid to reuse a frame or keep a frame on for longer periods of time, it will help keep it smooth from one motion or frame to the other.
While looking at this... it seems you may have put a few too many frames in it. For less jitter in the lines, design, and other things, try to use maybe a little bit less frames.
The eyes could have been animated a little bit better, and really change in shape from frame to frame.
Frame timing is key to a great animation, some frames will last longer than the others.
The lines tend to change their placement quite a bit, especially near the chest. So try to be more wary of that.
Even though I nitpicked at a LOT, this is still really good. Nice job! Keep up the good work. ^^

Honestly, I'm sorry but nobody is perfect, and honestly, don't skim through her gallery and decide on what rate her art and animations are.
I've been with her through thick and thin, and we are close.
I've seen how much things are going on, and when that happens, how can you do really good quality work when you are really stressed and have not much time.
The animations and are she had up is pretty old, so for the love of god, don't judge her on that.
And no.
She knows alot about animation and cats.
Also, She says at the beginning of every critique, "No ass pats here".
She's dead serious.
I could go on and on, however, you will probably not even read this, so I have one last statement.
Do not judge her by looking through her profile for 5 minuites (or less), because I've kniown her for over a year, and I really know everything about her.
Good day sir.

Wooooaaahhh there. Calm your tits.
Must you really make fun of my art? Grow up.
Excuse YOU. But I have not uploaded ANY animations recently, so no. You do not know of my skills.
Dude. I go to a fucking ARTS SCHOOL. I may not be the BEST fucking animator around and I may not be the best artist, but I know what I am talking about.
White knight much?

What are you, a professional Disney Animator? -~-

Wow. Wall of text there.
What do you mean you did not say anything about my art? Re-read your comment.
And better yet... re-read my critique. You seem to be assuming some thing that are not true.
And yes. I AM VERY AWARE OF WHAT A CAT DOES. -~-
And I was also NOT talking about when the cat was yawning. I was talking about the lines overall.
Also... just because I add a BUNCH of extra frames would not mean my animations are better. Yes they may be smoother, but it really depends on the motion of the character. So yes. Less frames in CERTAIN AREAS.
You know... this is the most useless argument EVER. You should not question my critique when the person that ACTUALLY MADE THE ANIMATION excepted it AND responded.
Not looking for a fight? Funny considering that you are the one that made the comment on this critique in the first place.
So yes. Go away.

And you know... you should maybe ASK me about what I was talking about BEFORE assuming. Maybe you mistook something? I don't know.
And by the way... I never knew that you have gone into my computer and looked at my secret animation project! That is so amazing! Because... you know... you should TOTALLY know my skill level from that.
I suggest you go away and don't reply. You are making a total ass out of yourself.
And my final words to you? Here they are:
Just because I am not a PROFESSIONAL does not mean I do not know what I am talking about. Don't reply to me like I am some five year old child. And your rude attitude will get you NO WHERE in life. So next time...
Don't be a big douche bag.

You know you already said you would not reply... right?
Wow.
I never knew I had to have a degree in animation to be able to type words and submit them to people in the form of the critique.
I apologize for having a fucking opinion.
Or you know what? How about no. I have an opinion. I don't give a shit about what you say. Kaythanksbai.

Thanks a lot for the critique, I really appreciate it. You're right about the jitter, the thing is rather wobbly. The lines were made back in August actually, but I probably should've fixed them a bit anyway.
I guess I still have a lot to learn, but I'll try my best to pay attention to the things you pointed out in my next animation. (: Thank you again!

Ooohh, this is very cute! The animation itself is really smooth - the outlines are shaky but I kind of like that style; think I've seen it in a couple cartoons before. And wow, I can see how it could have taken a while with that fur pattern! As for most of the flaws, you seem to already be aware of them, but all in all this is quite well done and super adorable! I definitely wouldn't have the kind of patience needed for an animation like this.
I don't think I'm gonna regret watching you at all. Your recent deviations all look really nice, and this one especially caught my attention. Keep up the good work!

Haha, np at all! And yeah, for some reason I thought I watched you because I somehow ended up in your gallery a lot, but the other day I realised, "Hey, wait a minute... I never actually get her artwork in my feed, do I? o_o"
But yeah, your work is definitely adorable and deserves the attention! I can't say I have as much to offer on my end but thank you for your watch as well. ~
