Poor Mokuba... 
After he was kidnapped by Sea-Witch Pegasus, he was thrown into a dark cave prison. He's going to be used as bait for King Seto, to bribe him to hand over the crown. While Pegasus was planning that, Mokuba tried hard to escape, struggling and trying to chew through the ropes. And while that was going on, Mokuba's friends had witnessed his capture and were going to get someone to help.
Hurry up, kiddos! Or else Pegasus could take over the entire kingdom!

well of course the happy mermaid mokuba couldn't last long xD i love how silly it is, with king seto and the parody of the original plot
now i wonder if the pegasus vs seto battle will the end the same way or if seto saves him this time, since so far yugi hasn't been in the story to avenge him .o.
anyways, i like the scenery outside the bars and how colorful and tidy everything is

Thanks. I like to imagine Pegasus is cruel enough to taunt Mokuba with a happy coral reef right outside his prison. Like, freedom and happiness is just a few meters away, but poor miserable little Mokuba can't reach it. How sad and unfortunate.Β

i actually tend to forget pegasus used to be a villain x'D
like, Season 4, and that "bonds beyond time" thing, where everyone is all "Oh NOES, we must SAVE PEGASUS!" and i'm like..............isn't this the guy atem swore he'd never forgive? didn't we all hate him? wasn't he trying to kill us and stuff? xD "pyramid of light" was a little better where kaiba is still disgruntled at him and doens't trust him and the whole "no really i'm good now!" is met with suspicion by everyone
i love pegasus but he's an innocent goof in all our comic plans so i tend to forget "oh right! he was a bad guy! he put kids in chains and stuff!" rofl rofl lD
where he defeats kaiba and yugi breaks down crying and atem pops into him all "pegasus! I will NEVER forgive you!!" * BURNING FOREHEAD EYE OF DOOM * is one of my fav parts but yeh :'D he's such a floof i tend to forget he used to be evil x'D zigfired al "after i trash your tournament pegasus will sign a contract with me instead of kaiba corp!" and i'm like KC STILL HAS A BUSINESS CONTRACT WITH II AFTER WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!?!? xDDD

Oh, he's definitely still a villain in my eyes. I mean, he used the same phrase to speak to Mokuba in Pyramid of Light as he did when the boy was locked in his dungeon. "You little ingrate."Β
Plus, there's a lot of psychological stuff Pegasus does to mess with people that's highlighted in some of the Pegasus-centered fanfic I've read.Β
But I have to admit, he's also a fun, playful villain; in a 'this guy can seem really innocent but is actually really scary' sort of way.
I understand being so immersed in one's fanfic that one tends to forget canon now and again. It's happened to me tons of times, and tbh I can't really imagine one of the worlds I've written for without my OC in it.Β

part of it might be that so much of our stuff involves season 4/season 5, and well, pegasus is a good guy in those seasons lol. he actually hasn't been a villain since way back in season 1. i liked the bit where mokuba hid behind seto from him but that's the last time anyone acknowledges "hey this guy did eff-ed up stuff 'lololol. i'm legit surprised anyone is writing serious evil-peg fanfics and not just doing comedy joke stuff with him being over-the-top and flamboyant
the only version of him that will be in our comics is our centaur incarnation of him, which is "17-year-old pegasus" before he got the eye. he's just innocent and floofy and lovable and whatnot

True... and especially because of his silliness in TAS, and love of the Spice Girls, it's easy to write him as silly and goofy. I like Pegasus in a guilty pleasure way. He may have kidnapped my Mokie, but he's still a fun character regardless. I loved his 'wine spritzer' joke in the movie and even though his insult to Mokuba annoyed me, I appreciated that he rescued the gang and was pretty much redeemed.
I also love evil!Pegasus fanfic b/c it explores how a character could be so heartless yet innocent-seeming. I'm personally surprised he isn't paired with Mokuba more often, given it seems a common trope to pair the cute black-haired kid with the evil old megalomaniac character. 
Hmm, 17 year old centaur Pegasus seems like an original enough concept! Go for it! <3

yushhhh we're going to set it up so he's just naturally blind in his left eye and just naturally has the mind-reading power thing... and we're toying with having the blind eye be blue, because in manga he had blue eyes and in anime he has brown.... and dartz didn't have the multi-colored eyes in this timeline, AND in present day they've ALSO gone back to both being yellow so i'm totally getting cheated out of getting ot draw the multi-colored eye character lololol
we're having a 'ygo research party marathon' this week of going back over all the episodes in order and taking notes, and since we wanna have him be around at least in his centaur form we wrote down notes for him along the way with the others and i found out all kinds of things about him i never noticed/relized before
one thing made me think of you was i never noticed before but yeah pegasus put mokuba in a dungeon, but he DID have him in a nice bedroom getting food served to him by croquet, and mokuba escaped. so the dungeon thing wasn't his first choice, and also there's loops where he could have tied up mokuba's hands too but he didn't, just the ankles. i never really noticed before but it's kida like weeeellll kid he WAS treating you nicely but you ran away so x'D i mean i don't blame mokuba for running away but if i was in pegasus's place well there's just no other way to keep mokuba from getting free because he's too smart. don't know about the book tho, we only got a few of the books ;; but anime-pegauss at least did make the attempt to keep mokuba comfortable in the beginning.
i wanna go back and get to know everyone again before trying to write about them cuz i'm sure there's so much i've forgotten. we're posting it all where other people can see it in case someone else wants to read out notes/also have the links to the episodes to draw their own conclusions, since all this takes SO much time and figured prolly other people don't have time to do this so they might appreciate it

Poor babe. Β Serenity will never get back to her home on land with Mokuba in the clutches of Pegasus. Β Reminds me of when the original Yugioh! series was the only one on television; my heart ached for Yugi's grandfather and little Mokuba, trapped in Pegasus' mansion on the island, despite little 8 year old me acknowledging Seto Kaiba was a vindictive buttface of the highest caliber (I didn't know the insult "asshole" yet, so I'm trying to remember what kind of name I would have called him as equivalent.)

I felt sorry for Grandpa and Mokuba too. I found it interesting that despite being a bit feisty, Mokuba was pretty much his brother's opposite. He was kind, sweet, and polite; someone I wouldn't mind being friends with. Seto would be a lot more difficult to befriend because he has trust issues and puts up a rude front. :/ But he still cares about his little brother and vowed to protect him, and I think that's beautiful.

I know from being an older sibling myself that we often have to put up a front of brave indifference to the evils of this world to shield our younger siblings. Β Such a front can turn into cynicism and anti-social behavior if left unchecked, especially if this "brave indifference" is forced upon them at an early age. Β This is especially the case if the siblings are orphaned, or the parents are neglectful enough that they might as well be orphans, at least from what I've seen in character development tropes.
Mokuba is the opposite of the young gaming magnate in all ways... except for the fact that they would do anything for each other, especially when it comes to dueling for the other's life.

True. I felt bad for poor young Seto having to take on the father role for his brother at such a young age, and then being abused by his stepfather. Luckily, Mokuba was there to cheer him up. 
I agree that they would do anything for each other, and Mokuba is the closest anyone's ever been to Seto.

I'm not going to draw a woman like this, though, because I find female characters are far too sexualized/put into uncomfortable situations on DA already. So I wouldn't portray that even in a plot-related context (as shown here), sorry.
