I've realized I've never drawn DSOD Mokuba before, so here he is. But he is a very sad, heartbroken boy.
Poor Mokuba, I feel so sorry for him at the end of that movie. His brother and best friend, Seto, left for the afterlife without a promise that he'd return. Imagine how that would feel...
When Seto comes back - and in my headcanons he does come back - he'll have a lot of 'splaining to do.
Edit: Okay, I watched the sub version, and I much prefer the way things were phrased there. Rather than "you're in charge, Mokuba" (implying he's leaving the company to him), Seto says, "Take care of things while I'm gone." And instead of asking Seto to promise he'll be back, and getting no answer in return, Mokuba says it as a statement, "Be sure to be back." Seto and Mokie seemed a lot closer in the jp version, and it seemed like a happier ending there. Seto would duel Atem, and then he'd be back for Mokie. Like, it seemed a lot more clear what the intention of the ending was.

I like the idea of them making a new season of the original YGO, preferably taking place after DSOD.

The ending bothers me so much for this exact reason. How could Seto just leave Mokuba? It never felt right to me, so thank you for letting us in on the Japanese ending. That's way more in character.

why is Mokuba crying what happen to Seto?

At the end of the movie "Dark Side of Dimensions" Seto found a way to go to the afterlife to see The Pharaoh using his new space elevator and dimensional transporter.
Unfortunately we never see Seto come back, as this happens at the end of the movie. Mokuba feels sad and rejected because his brother left him. He starts to feel like he wasn't good enough for Seto if he risked his life to see the Pharaoh, when he could have stayed at home with him. They're supposed to be best friends. He wishes Seto will come back soon because it's unknown what kind of effect the afterlife will have on him.

why would Mokuba feel that way he should know it has nothing to do with him. and why didn't Seto come back?
also did this happen because of Seto and Yu Gi Duel and was it because of who won the final duel anyway?
anyway poor Moki I hope Yu Gi and his friends take the boy in under there wing because he just a boy he needs care and effection.

He's the kind of person who'll blame himself for things, even if it wasn't his fault. We never see Seto come back because it was the final scene of the movie when he faces off against the Pharaoh. No one knows when he'll come back or even if the dimensional transporter can take him back.
It was because Seto wanted to prove himself the King of Games by facing off against the Pharaoh one last time. He was that determined to win that he pierced the veil of death to do so.
I'm sure Yugi and friends will take care of Moki while Seto is away. They were always so protective of him

In the Japanese version, it's implied that Seto does come back. The way it's set up there makes it feel like it was less of a final thing than it was in the english version. Of course, I drew this picture before I could see the original version.

We never saw the result of the duel, so I suppose it's up to interpretation.

it took me a while to figure out why kaiba had "miniature buildings in this office" x'D; maybe some lines to indicate glass there would help .o.

I did add 'glass lines', but they're kinda dark... maybe I should lighten them to a blue-ish colour?
I think a lot of us had the idea of showing how Mokuba felt at the end of DSOD. I never meant to copy you or anything!

ah, yeh, don't do black for glass. glass shine should be white, preferably set to be a bit transparent since u can see thru glass. for really dark settings it should be really transparent/really light but still visible. in real life of course there's reflections to consider but in cartoon style some wide white diagonal swatches get the point across. it should be more than just some lines tho, should be all the way across the glass. like... like um... D; *finds something*
was just the fastest thing i could think of DX wide strips of white all the way across / set it to be partly transparent so u can see thru it like u can see thru glass
oh i know u didn't copy us cuz u don't know what we're doing x3 but i'm just totally excited to see what u think of it (~'o')~ ♪

That's a good point. I will try that out from now on. Translucent glass with white and blue shine sounds like a fun project to take on!

all these stupid emotional things, omg. i don't get any art done when i'm sitting around crying and searching for a reason to live, it's so frustrating. i've got 2 weeks left. i wish i could just turn all this crap off and put it all aside but just, the damage lately went a lot deeper than i thought it was going to be :/ i mean we've all run into stupid people on the internet but lately though :/ my gosh i have no hope at all whatsoever anymore and that makes it so hard to draw. and then when i fall behind / don't get my drawings done that makes everything even worse because this stuff is having consequences besides just upsetting me, it's ruining everything

I only got Kaiba card sleeves on Duel Links! But I love 'em.
For my birthday, I asked dad for one keychain w/ Kaiba/Mokuba on it. It's really cute. ^^ I also got myself a Kaiba cosplay outfit, cause I always wanted a coat like his but could never find anything like it in stores.
There isn't a lot of merchandise I can afford/is worth buying, so I just get my favourite stuff.

i thought of u, they had these cute keychains, they were chibis, and they reminded me of those paper doll things on dA cuz they were made to look like the keychain was attached to their clothes and they were dangling like puppies. they had kaiba and a mokuba. .u. and i may have seen the kaiba/mokuba together one
but i never buy fan-made stuff so i never get those things

Making money off other people's fanart is just no good. Unfortunately, I see a lot of boycott merchandise of The Simpsons and other cartoons in a lot of the 'tourist trap' locations in Prague and other places. It's not right to steal someone's hard work and sell it, but I see people with a whole business doing just that.

yeah, like all the fake cards on ebay. i almost accidentally bought a fake blue-eyes alternative dragon because there was only 2 listed for the normal price most cards are ( like 99 cents to around 2-3 dollars, maybe 4 dollars for the really rare ones ) aaaaaand they were fakes!! the real alternative dragon for some reason is $20 each. but, for the others though you don't have that obvious clue of "why is this one so much dramatically cheaper" but yeah, when buying cards you have to carefully check the description every time. of course they have to tell you their fake because ebay will eat them alive if they rip someone off, but yeah, every single card especially when "list by cheapest price" and the ones at the top, always have to read the description r__r i mean definitely don't have someone who doesn't know what they're doing like say parents buying cards for their kids or something. you have to know the cards pretty much, like i found on google people selling eye of timaeus as a ritual card. it looked perfect except "why the carp is timaeus a ritual?" but if you don't know that then....
i dont think they should even be allowed to list them at all. it should be some kind of copyright infringement.
