Can I ask how much this costed you to make on Pixelhobby? I'm really wanting to start making my own mosaic's, and have used Pixelhobby's designs, but they are really quite pricey.

Dithering... My only complaint about this piece.

This is awesome! I had started trying to make a pattern for this image out of perler beads during the summer but it wasn't going well. Limited colors was sucky. Great job on this! What is PixelHobby if I may ask? From the website they look like mini squares ...

They are about half the size of a perler bead, so it takes 4 beads to make up the same area as one perler bead.

They only have a hole on one side that goes on the pegboard, so the side that is shown is a complete square.

There is no ironing, the beads stay stuck to the pegboards, so the boards themselves are not reusable.

They come in a wider variety of colors, I'm not going to count, but it is probably around 200, even with the variety some images just do not work, they seem to be lacking when it comes to darker shades, especially blacks.

Even though they are smaller, they cost more than Perler beads, about $7-$9 per board (2000 beads a board) depending on how many extra beads you end up with.

So, could you use the pixelhobby program to make the patter and then make it with perler beads? or does it have to be the hobby beads? Cuz thats what i was going to do, but now im not sure since, you said the beads were smaller....

Aaaah, pixelhobby. I'm so jealous of that huuuuuuge palette that makes my cheap marker pixelart green with envy.

So nice. Did you do it to keep it for yourself, or was it a commission, a gift? I surely would love to get one of these as a birthday present, and I'm not even a comics fan to begin with.
